Star Indian Cricketer All Set To Tie The Knot With A Bollywood Diva

Bollywood and cricket have a strong relationship, as many legendary cricketers have tied a knot with actresses or had been involved in a relationship with them in past. From Zaheer Abbas to Yuvraj Singh, cricketers have fancied Bollywood when it comes to finding their soulmates.

Last year, two Indian greats Yuvraj Singh (Hazel Keech) and Harbhajan Singh (Geeta Basra) married two divas from Hindi cinema. Whereas former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan too got engaged to Chak De girl Sagarika Ghatge and now the latest buzz in the town is that the duo is all set to tie the knot later this year.

According to Bombay Times, a source close to the dynamic duo of Khan and Ghatge told they will have two separate wedding ceremonies and a grand reception will take on November 27.

The source was quoted saying:

“Zaheer and Sagarika are all set to tie the knot in November and their wedding reception will take place on the 27th of the same month. There could be two ceremonies – one each in Mumbai and Pune. Close friends and family have been informed in advance to save the date.”

Earlier this year in April just before the start of Indian Premier League’s 10th edition, India’s most successful fast bowler took to Twitter to share the news about his engagement in a unique way, as he said:

After the engagement, Sagarika in an interview with The Times of India said she was surprised when Zak proposed to her and she will never forget that moment in her life.

She said,

“Zak secretly planned our engagement for days; I honestly had no clue. I had no idea that he had picked up such a pretty ring for me. I can’t describe that moment and it will forever remain as something very special between us. We are really blessed.”
