So the 2019 World Cup vibes are already taking its boost across the globe. There is no press conference or the interviews without questions regarding the 2019 World Cup. Much to the same, Gautam Gambhir was also asked to pick the favourites for the upcoming grand tournament.

However, the prestigious competition is just eight months away to get underway. This time, it will be a ten-team affair, and all teams participating in the event will face each other at least once.

All the top eight nations and the finalists in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Windies and Afghanistan will join the most significant event in the game of the cricket, scheduled to play in England and Wales.

Meanwhile, when asked about the favourites to win the trophy, Gautam Gambhir termed there would be no favourites, as this time he feels every team got the equal chance to bag the coveted prize.

“India is playing well now but can’t really predict anything for World Cup. There are some very good teams like South Africa, Australia and England. Can’t call any favourites,” Gautam Gambhir said to Times Now.

As Gautam Gambhir said, the upcoming 2019 World Cup will give a hard time for analysts to give their favourites. With the tournament set to be played in a different format, the odds on the team will see the regular changes.

All the teams out there are trying to figure out there best squad before heading into the tournament. All in all, it is going to be one heck of the contests when all the teams lock horns in England in the mega event.
