Video: Dressing Room Stunned As Dean Elgar Played a False Shot on 199

Bangladesh are in South Africa for the Test series, the first match is currently being played at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom.

After winning the toss, the visitors opted to bowl on a wicket which looked good for batting. The Proteas duo of Dean Elgar and Aiden Markram proved with their superb show with the bat that, it was a big mistake by Mushfiqur Rahim.

Debutant, Markram missed out on his hundred by just three runs after a miscommunication with his partner. Dean Elgar though went on to bat and make up for his mistake. He along with Hashim Amla kept Bangladeshi bowlers at bay.

Dean reached 199 before he tried to play a pull-shot of Mustafizur but ended up giving an easy catch to Mominul Haq.

The South Africans were dejected, as Elgar made his way back to the pavilion, Bangladeshi team came up to congratulate him on a knock which has put the Proteas in the driver’s seat.
