Team India batsmen have dominated the second Test in Pune leaving the South African bowlers frustrated. The bowlers have bowled their hearts out but have failed to pick wickets. After going wicketless so far on day two, Kagiso Rabada was seen venting his frustration on teammate Quinton de Kock, compelling skipper Faf du Plessis to intervene.

Resuming at 273 for three, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane kept the visitors at bay. They scored the boundaries easily as the runs came by. Rahane soon reached his half-century with a flurry of boundaries as the pair added over 100 runs for the third wicket.

Kohli also scaled his 26th Test century with a boundary and being over-cautious in the 90s. The India skipper played a flurry of shots to bring his hundred after failing to do so in the first Test. After a wicketless morning session, Keshav Maharaj finally struck to get Ajinkya Rahane out.

But the South African bowlers had no answer to Virat Kohli’s brilliance. Kagiso Rabada, who didn’t have his share of luck today seemed extremely frustrated. He vented his anger on wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock. The exchange of words heated up between the change of overs forcing skipper Faf du Plessis to intervene.

Du Plessis had to push Kagiso Rabadaa away from De Kock to stop the argument before play resumed. The Proteas will need some luck to get the better of the Indian batsmen in the flat Pune wicket which had something for the bowlers on the opening day.
