South African cricketer Tabraiz Shamsi slammed Virat Kohli’s critics after the Indian batsman hit the winning run against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2022.

India and Pakistan’s T20 World Cup Super 12 Group 2 encounter ended up being a thriller with plenty of ups and downs. In the end, the Rohit Sharma-led team won, and Virat Kohli deserves all the credit for it.

Kohli scored an unbeaten 82 runs off just 53 balls to enable India to cross the finish line with four wickets remaining. Ravichandran Ashwin scored the winning runs on the game’s final pitch to secure the victory.

He was named Player of the Match as a result of his performance, which helped India win by four wickets at the MCG. Tabraiz Shamsi spoke out and pleaded with the public to support their celebrities at trying times. He criticized those who had called for Kohli’s dismissal from the national squad a few days prior.

Tabraiz Shamsi took to Twitter and wrote, “Some people were asking for Virat to get dropped not too long ago.. I’m sure they are dancing with joy from that win for India now. Sigh.. gotta learn to back people that have performed game after game even if they go through a bit of a hard time every now and then #DontBeFickle.”

India’s next match is against the Netherlands on October 27 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
