IND vs ENG: Virender Sehwag Feels Virat Kohli's Bad Days Are Over
Updated - 27 Jun 2022, 02:58 PM
Former India explosive opener Virender Sehwag believes that the bad days of the former India all-format captain Virat Kohli are over and now the better days will arrive.
Kohli has been struggling with the form in recent times and he hasn’t scored an international century for over two years. In the Indian Premier League 2022, Kohli was in poor form and he recorded three golden ducks in the 15th edition of the tournament.

Former India captain was rested for the home T20I series against South Africa, which ended in a draw, and he is also not participating in the ongoing two-match T20I series against Ireland as he is in England for the rescheduled Test match.
The 5th and last Test match of the series between India and England, which was cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 outbreak in the Indian camp, will be played at the Edgbaston, Birmingham from Friday, July 1.
He would definitely want that he scores big in this Edgbaston Test – Virender Sehwag
In the 4-day warm-up match between India and Leicestershire at the Grace Road, Leicester, Virat Kohli batted in both the innings for India and looked in good touch.
In the first innings, he scored 33 runs off 69 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six, before being dismissed by Roman Walker. In the second innings, he batted even better and smashed 67 runs off 98 balls, including 5 four and 2 sixes, before being dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah.
Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag backed Kohli to score big in the rescheduled Test against England.
“Do you remember when was the last time, Kohli scored a century? Even I don’t remember. He would definitely want that he scores big in this Edgbaston Test which is the series decider,” Sehwag told on Sony’s pre-match show ‘Extra Innings.’
“I think his bad days are over. Ab lagta hai behtar din ayenge (I think now his better days will come) and they have already started. He has scored fifty in both the innings.” (Kohli scored a fifty in the 2nd innings and he scored 33 runs in the first innings,” Sehwag added.
