The southpaw has enrolled himself in the 2 Cr bracket but is expected to be sold for a much higher price. Warner is a proven matchwinner in the IPL and going by his stats, cricket experts have expected him to fetch a sum between 10-15 crores minimum in the mega auction. Three franchises (RCB, KKR and PBKS) are in need of a captain to lead their particular franchise and all three teams might go behind the Australian opener. He is inching closer to 6000 runs in the tournament.

Smith is another Australian player who has been regularly playing in the IPL. He has decent enough stats in the IPL and has previously led Pune Warriors India and The Rajasthan Royals. With three teams requiring potential captaincy candidates, Smith might fetch a few bucks given his reputation as a successful international cricketer. If Royal Challengers Bangalore eventually succeeds in buying him then cricket fans can see Kohli and Smith playing together in the IPL alongside Glenn Maxwell.

KKR roped in Pat Cummins for 15.50 crores in the IPL 2020 auction. The Australian pacer is yet to make an impact in the IPL. However, this might be his chance to attract the bidders with teams looking to overhaul themselves and good overseas pacers is a category every franchise is looking to tick. With no Mitchell Starc in the mega auction yet again, Cummins along with Josh Hazlewood will be the two prominent Australian pacers the franchises might target.

With his extra pace and bounce, Hazlewood is always a handy option with the ball. MS Dhoni tried extracting the best from him in the given conditions in the UAE. The right-arm pacer with his extra pace might just attract the bidders as pace is always a handly option for a team to have. He has also enrolled himself in the two-crore category league.

The Australian leg-spinner is the final player in this list who can fetch good bucks in the mega auction. He made a mark playing for the Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL 2016 and 2017. However, since then, not many teams have gone behind him in the auction. A team like KKR or CSK who like to have many spin options in their side can look to rope him in. A side like Rajasthan Royals who are also looking for good bowling options can buy him to sort at least a part of their bowling arsenal. He has kept 2 crores as his base price heading into the mega auction.
