IPL 2022 Auction: List of Indian Players Who Have Set Their Base Price at INR 2 Crores

The much-anticipated IPL Mega-Auctions 2022 is all set to take place on 13 and 14^th February in Bangalore. The eight existing franchise earlier named their list of retained players. Following is the list of players retained by the eight existing franchises:

1. Chennai Super Kings: MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, and Ruturaj Gaikwad
2. Kolkata Knight Riders: Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Venkatesh Iyer, Varun Chakravarthy
3. Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and Mohammed Siraj.
4. Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah
5. Delhi Capitals: Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Anrich Nortje, and Axar Patel
6. Sunrisers Hyderabad: Kane Williamson, Abdul Samad, and Umran Malik
7. Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, and Yashasvi Jaiswal
8. Punjab Kings: Mayank Agarwal and Arshdeep Singh

The new IPL franchises, Lucknow and Ahmedabad, have also announced their list of players acquired from the available pool. Following are the players picked by Ahmedabad and Lucknow.

9. Lucknow: KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi
10. Ahmedabad: Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill

The rest of the players will find themselves back into the auction pool. As per the data, a total of 1214 players have registered themselves for the mega auctions. It includes 896 Indians and 318 overseas. To further break it down, the list includes 270 capped, 903 uncapped, and 41 Associate players.

There are a lot of players who have set their base price at INR 2 crores at the auctions. The list includes both Indians as well as overseas players.

Talking about the Indian players, a total of 17 players have registered themselves under INR 2 crore bracket. The list includes the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishan Kishan, Suresh Raina, Yuzvendra Chahal among others.
