Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh believes Virat Kohli needs to reflect on his earlier years and how he was as a man to overcome his recent slump.

Yuvraj remarked in an exclusive interview with the newly established channel Sports18 that Kohli’s hard work is four times higher than any sportsman he has had for the last 15 years, which will aid in his recovery.

Virat Kohli, according to former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, needs to return to his earlier self and be the free-flowing person he used to be. This comes after Virat Kohli’s batsmanship has been hampered for a long time.

Virat Kohli hasn’t scored a century in any form of cricket since November 2019, and he’s having a bad run in the present IPL 2022. Kohli has only 128 runs in 8 matches with the RCB, with a best of 48 at an average of 16 and a strike rate of 119.62.

Virat Kohli has proved himself to be the best of this era:

Yuvraj remarked in an exclusive interview with the newly launched channel Sports18 that Kohli’s hard work is substantially greater than any sportsman he has seen in the last 15 years, which will aid in his recovery.

“He’s not satisfied, and it’s clear that others aren’t too, because we’ve seen him set higher goals, scoring hundreds after hundreds.” This, however, happens to the finest players. Virat needs to re-establish himself as a free-spirited individual.

If he can transform himself and return to his previous form, it will show in his game. He has proven to be the greatest of his generation and specializes in a hard work ethic, which has brought out the best in him throughout the years.

Kohli has decided to step down as India’s Test captain after relinquishing the T20I captaincy after the T20 World Cup 2021 and was replaced as ODI captain shortly after. Last year, he also resigned as the RCB team’s captain.
