IPL 2023 Auction: Complete List Of Players Retained By Mumbai Indians (MI)

Mumbai Indians (MI) has announced its list of retained players for IPL 2023 auction. The five-time IPL winners have retained a total of 15 players for the auction. IPL 2023 auction is set to take place on December 23 next month.

The venue of the mini-auction is Kochi city in Kerala. Ahead of the auction, BCCI had urged all the franchises to submit their list of retained and released players by November 15. All 10 franchises will have a salary purse of Rs. 95 crores in the IPL 2023 mini-auction.

IPL 2023 Auction: Complete List Of Players Retained By Mumbai Indians (MI)

Mumbai Indians are the most successful team in the Indian Premier League so far. The team has won IPL titles 5 times- IPL 2012, 2013, 2015, 2019, and 2020. However, the Rohit Sharma-led side did not execute a good performance last season.

Losing back-to-back 8 games at the start, Mumbai Indians finished in the last 10th spot in the IPL 2022 points table. Out of 14 games, MI lost 10 matches and won only 4. They had just 8 points in their kitty and were the worst performer in the season.

For Mumbai Indians, Ishan Kishan was the top run-scorer for the team last season with 418 runs in 14 games. Tilak Varma was next with 397 runs. In bowling, Jasprit Bumrah picked the most 14 wickets for the team. Daniel Sams was next with 13 scalps.
