Marcus Stoinis All Set To Play For Sharjah Warriors In Inaugural ILT20

The UAE International T20 League (ILT20) is expected to be the next big thing in Franchise Circuit. The peculiarity of this league is that 9 overseas players are allowed in the playing 11.  Recently ICC stated that the tournament’s stats won’t be counted in the T20 List A career which is a massive blow to the players & organizers.

3 out of 6 teams are owned by the IPL franchises which include Mumbai Emirates, Dubai Capitals, and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. ILT20 is going to clash with the inaugural SA20. Both these leagues are assumed to change the face of Franchise Cricket.

Marcus Stoinis on Sharjah Warriors

Marcus Stoinis is likely to join Sharjah Warriors when the BBL ends on 25th January.  Marcus Stoinis was asked about Sharjah Warriors and the new league. “It’s a massive opportunity for me personally to notch up some crucial playtime at a tournament like this in the UAE ahead of a busy year that’s going to be full of cricket.” said Marcus Stoinis.
