Marnus Labuschagne was looking in sublime touch. On the 5th ball of the 40th over, Labuschagne was playing the cover drive and edged the ball to the 1st slip where Simon Harmer claimed the catch and the umpires signaled out as the soft signal but later 3rd umpire astonishingly gave not out.

Ben Stokes on Soft Signal

Ben Stokes took to his social media handle and made some interesting comments on ICC. “ICC should get rid off the soft signal and let the 3rd umpire who has all the technology to make the decision when the on field umpires send it upstairs,all the controversy is always around the soft signal given. This isn’t a comment on the decision FYI.” said Ben Stokes.

Exciting Contest on Cards

Proteas got a a huge wicket of Marnus Labuschagne who was looking dangerous where the batter scored 79 runs in 151 balls where he struck 13 fours.

Anrich Nortje has been the stand-out bowler where he took 2 wickets in his spell of 11 overs where he gave away 26 runs. Skipper Pat Cummins would be hoping that the team score at least 350 runs to give the bowlers a crack at the opposition.
