Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi made a significant announcement on Sunday, May 5, regarding the national players for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Naqvi has announced that each player would be rewarded with $100,000 (approximately 2 crore 77 lakh PKR) if the Pakistan National Cricket Team wins the upcoming T20 World Cup in 2024.
The announcement was made by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief during his visit to Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium, where the Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team is undergoing the national training camp, which began on Saturday, May 4.

According to the PCB, Naqvi engaged with both the national players and officials during his visit, as he extended his support to the national team and motivated them ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to be co-hosted by the USA and Caribbean from June 1.
In a video shared by PCB Media on the microblogging site X, Mohsin Naqvi announced that he would give a $100,000 prize to every Pakistani player for winning the T20 World Cup in 2024. The PCB chief said that this award has no value in front of Pakistan's victory at the T20 World Cup 2024.
Mohsin Naqvi stated: “Hope you will raise Pakistani green flag high this time. Play without any pressure. Compete strongly. Competition should be seen on the field. Victory will be for you and defeat for me. Don't care about anyone. Play only for Pakistan. The nation has a lot of expectations from you. You have to fulfil those expectations. Inshallah Fateh Aapke Kadam Chumegi.”
