Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batters Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis are giving their everything on the field in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is host to the 68th game of the tournament.

Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis are at their animated best in the ongoing game against Chennai Super Kings. They are making sure that they keep their team in the hunt as they keep the intensity high on the field and are motivating the bowlers to deliver goods.

But they were at their furious best as both Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis vented out their anger at the umpire. This happened after the ball got extremely wet due to the dew on the ground. Both the Royal Challengers Bengaluru batters were requesting the umpire to change the ball but the official didn't agree.

However, it cost Royal Challengers Bengaluru as on the second ball of the 12th over, the ball slipped out of the hands of Lockie Ferguson and went at high full-toss range (no-ball) to Rachin Ravindra, who cashed in an opportunity and scored the boundary towards the fine-leg fence.

This didn't go well with Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis. The duo had a chat with umpire Akshay Totre and expressed their frustration with the slippery ball not being changed. The official however still didn't agree to change the ball as the Kohli and du Plessis didn't look happy.

Here's the video:

Rachin Ravindra played a valiant hand for his team at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and kept his team in the hunt. The opening batter put Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers under pressure and till the time he was batting, he gave a tough time to the home team.

However, he had an unfortunate end to his innings as a miscommunication with Shivam Dube saw him back in the hut. The batter scored 61 runs off 37 balls and had a strike rate of over 164. He also hit 5 fours and 3 sixes in his innings to keep his team in the hunt.

Faf du Plessis takes a screamer to remove Mitchell Santner at Chinnaswamy Stadium

Faf du Plessis after that argument with the umpire made sure that brings out his best in the field. He took one of the best catches in the history of the Indian Premier League to remove Mitchell Santner and put his team in the top position at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Mohammed Siraj bowled a low full-toss on off stump to which Mitchell Santner leaned back to loft. Faf du Plessis, who was at the edge of the ring, leaped at the right time and put in a full-stretch dive to gobble the ball. He managed to take the catch and it made the entire crowd go berserk.

Mitchell Santner couldn't believe what happened as he walked back with his head down. Faf du Plessis then went on the mimic the catch, which he took it behind him. It's fair to say that it was one of the catches of this season.
