India batting legend Gautam Gambhir has once again slammed Shahid Afridi on Twitter.  The fiery relation between the two ex-internationals is well known in the cricketing circles. Neither of the two leave a single chance to take a shot at each other since the infamous feud between themselves in the Kanpur ODI in 2007.

Time and again, one has seen Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi taking a swipe at each other. In the latest incident, it was Gautam Gambhir who shot back at the former Pakistan allrounder. The World Cup-winner was perhaps irked with Afridi’s remarks in his autobiography. Afridi has made some scathing remarks for Gautam Gambhir in his biography ‘Game Changer.

“(Gautam Gambhir) and his attitude problem. He, who has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He has no great records, just a lot of attitude. He behaves like he’s a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond,” Afridi penned down in his autobiography.

Not the one to hold back, Gautam Gambhir lashed out at the allrounder and reminded him of his track record in international cricket. The legendary batsman pointed out the final of the 2007 T20 World Cup where he top-scored while Afridi was out for a duck as India beat Pakistan to win the tournament.

Not only that, Gautam Gambhir, who top-scored for India in the final of the 2011 World Cup too, took a dig at Afridi’s age issues, tweeting:

“Someone who doesn’t remember his age how will he remember my records!OK @SAfridiOfficial let me remind u one: 2007 T20 WC final, Ind Vs Pak Gambhir 75 off 54 balls Vs Afridi 0 off 1 ball. Most imp: We won the Cup. And yes, I’ve attitude towards liars, traitors & opportunists.”
