So far, it has been a splendid day for India in Rajkot. They have given nothing for the visitors to get the momentum for their side. The young Prithvi Shaw and Pujara added a 205-run partnership for the second wicket. During the course, the fans have spotted Cheteshwar Pujara batting with a water bottle in his pocket.

Cheteshwar Pujara was spotted carrying a pocket-sized bottle with him while batting in the first innings. It might have been because of the heat conditions in Rajkot, but it was enough fodder for Twitterati to show their funnier side.

As it happened:

Earlier, in the day, Virat Kohli won the toss and asked the visitors to bat first. Windies got the early success when Gabriel got rid-off KL Rahul in the first over of the game. However, it was the only time when the Windies looked on top of the game.

The stunning partnership between Cheteshwar Pujara and Prithvi Shaw completely changed the things for team India. The 18-year-old youngster, in particular, had impressed with his top-class striking.

He went on to smash everything this on offer. During the course, he brought up his maiden fifty and then converted it into a hundred, as well. He is looking well set to knock something big on his memorable day for India.

Just when things looked in control for India, the Windies’ debutant, Lewis caught the edge of Cheteshwar Pujara to hand the second wicket. It made way for King Kohli to make his way to the crease.
