IPL 2018: 35th Match: CSK vs RCB - Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted XI

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will travel to Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) adopted home ground of Pune for the 35th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.

The Virat Kohli led team has won three matches out of the eight they have played. Thus, Men in Red find themselves in the bottom half of the points table.

On the other hand, Super Kings have won six matches out of the nine they have featured in so far. Thus, Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led team is at the second place in the points table.

Chennai had lost their last match against Knight Riders. Consequently, Men in Yellow will look to return to winning ways.

When these two teams had met earlier in the season, Chennai was able to get out of the troubled waters in the fag end of the innings.

AB de Villiers is going to return to the Bangalore side and it will give them a shot in the arm. de Villiers had to miss on a previous couple of matches due to a viral fever. The Proteas talismanic batsman will like to hit the ground running.

Quinton de Kock hasn’t able to convert his starts into a substantial score so far. However, the Proteas wicketkeeper is doing a fine job behind the wickets.

Manan Vohra:

Manan Vohra had scored a fine 45 in the last match against defending champions Mumbai Indians.

Consequently, Vohra will like to give another good start to his team while batting up the order.

Virat Kohli has once again shown his class with the bat for RCB. Bangalore’s captain has scored 349 runs thus far in the tournament.

AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers will make his way back into the final XI after missing on the last two matches. de Villiers return will definitely raise the morale of the RCB team.

Mandeep Singh has played a good couple of cameos for RCB while batting down the order.

The right-handed batsman has done a good job in providing the finishing touches to the RCB’s inning.

Colin de Grandhomme:

Colin de Grandhomme had played a crucial role in the last match to catapult RCB to 167.

The New Zealander all-rounder is well known for his pyrotechnics.

Washington Sundar:

Washington Sundar isn’t at his usual best with the ball. The young off-spinner is conceding runs at the higher rate. Sundar will like to turn the tables against CSK.

Tim Southee has added experience in the bowling battery of the RCB.

The Kiwi fast bowler was awarded the Man of the Match in the last match for his spell of 2 for 25.

Umesh Yadav:

Umesh Yadav is also providing early breakthroughs to the Bangalore side.

However, the speedster will like to bowl with more consistency in the death overs.

Mohammed Siraj has shown great improvement while bowling in the final overs of the inning.

The Hyderabad fast bowler scalped two wickets and conceded only 28 runs in the previous match.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal is slowly but surely gaining more confidence.

The leg-spinner went wicketless in the last match but he was economical in his spell for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
