New Zealand cricketer, Ross Taylor reveals he wants to play more of longer format games and complete his 100 Test match for his team. The veteran cricketer, Ross Taylor wishes to extend his international career by another two home summers. Meanwhile, the 34-year-old batsman packed his bag and flew to the United Arab Emirates for another tour against Pakistan.

Moreover, there might be a possibility of him completing his 100th Test in January 2020, if he stays fit till that time.

However, the Black Caps are scheduled to play their first Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground in almost 35 years. However, if he misses one or two matches, he could cope up in India’s Test visit later that summer. He would like to found himself in the list with Daniel Vettori, Stephen Fleming and Brendon McCullum who already completed their 100th Test matches.

“I’ve always said I want to get to the World Cup. Obviously, the Boxing Day test in Australia is a nice incentive also. I wouldn’t mind playing 100 tests. But that is still a long way away, and I’ve got to get these hammies and calves and rest of the body in some decent shape to hopefully get there,” Ross Taylor told Stuff.

Furthermore, Ross Taylor says his career longevity keeps on expanding.

“Some days you’ve got to be honest, and you think you’re close to retiring, and some days you feel like you could still play for 2-3 years at international level. You’re a long time retired, and you don’t want to make any rash decisions on form or emotion,” he added.
