Rajasthan Royals (RR) has come out with their list of released and retained players for the IPL 2023 auction. The last season’s runners-up have released 10 players from their squad ahead of IPL 2023 auction.

The IPL 2023 mini-auction is set to take place next month on December 23 in Kochi city in Kerala. This time, all the franchises will have a salary purse of Rs. 95 crores, 5 crores more than the last auction. All the franchise owners are gearing up to grab some big players in their squad during the auction.

IPL 2023 Auction: Complete List Of Players Released By Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Rajasthan Royals won the debut edition of the Indian Premier League in 2008. However, the team never managed to win the title again. Last season, they came up with a spectacular performance by finishing as runners-up.

In IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals played 14 matches during the league stage. Led by Sanju Samson, the team won 9 games and lost 5 matches to finish in the 2nd spot in the points table with 14 points. Hence, they qualified for the playoffs.

During the playoffs, Rajasthan Royals lost the Qualifier 1 match to Gujarat Titans. Later, they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in Qualifier 2 game to grab a berth in the final. However, RR lost the final to Gujarat Titans and ended as runners-up in IPL 2022.

For Rajasthan, Jos Buttler was the top run-getter for the team as well as the tournament, smashing 863 runs in 17 games with 4 centuries and 4 fifties. Sanju Samson was next with 458 runs in 17 games. In bowling, Yuzvendra Chahal scalped 27 wickets to emerge as the top wicket-taker in the tournament.
