The wicket-keeper batter KL Rahul played a fine knock of 64 runs in 103 balls where he struck 6 fours. The batter stitched an invaluable partnership of 75 runs with the flamboyant all-rounder Hardik Pandya where the duo bailed out the team from a precarious position.

Dinesh Chandimal on Suryakumar Yadav

Dinesh Chandimal is with Desert Vipers in the ILT20 and  was having an interaction with PTI & was asked about Suryakumar Yadav. “Looking at this Indian team, it shows how much strength is there in the bench. I still feel Surya can play in the middle order in this Indian team. He is different to other batters. You need a guy like him in the middle-order. He can change the game by just scoring 30 to 50 runs. Opposition team can be frustrated with the speed at which he scores. I still feel he should play in ODIs.” said Dinesh Chandimal.

Great Chance for India

The Men in Blue would be keen to keep the winning run continue. Skipper Rohit Sharma may make some tactical changes ahead of the 3rd ODI where Mohammed Shami could be rested to manage his work-load as India is going to play Border Gavaskar Trophy in February.

The management should not make the mistake of dropping Kuldeep Yadav as the left arm chinaman took 3 key wickets which changed the course of the match. We have seen many times that Kuldeep is dropped from the team for a better team combination. But with World Cup around the corner, the management should give him a long rope.
