How Internet Sensasion 5 Year Old Kid SK Shahid Ended Up Training With Idol Sachin Tendulkar

A 5-year-old kid by the name of S K Shahid, known to be a huge fan of Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar, recently got to train with the legendary batter himself after a video of his batting training went viral on social media.

The father of Shahid, Shaikh Shamser, revealed how the journey began which ended up making the kid an internet sensation. It also led to Tendulkar giving out advice to the kid while training at the Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy in Mumbai.

“My son is five years old. His role model is Sachin Sir and it was his dream to see him. He wants to become a cricketer. Just to see him was his dream, but what Sachin Sir did, even a thank you is less. We had uploaded a video of Shahid on our Twitter handle. This video was tweeted by Fox Cricket, which is an Australian channel.“

“The channel tagged Tendulkar, former England captain Michael Vaughan, and the late Shane Warne. We feel that Tendulkar saw this video after which a member of his team got in touch with us,” Shahid’s father told PTI over the phone on Friday.

Tendulkar ensured that Shahid was able to practice other activities along with cricket. Shamser also revealed that a routine is being followed after the Academy recommended it to them.

On being asked what is the next step for the boy, Shamser said that they will look for a coaching club where they can enroll him.
