The English all-rounder was not part of the last season of IPL 2022. Now, he has decided to be part of IPL 2023 and will go under the hammer during the IPL 2023 auction.

The left-handed batsman got injured in the very first game of IPL 2021 for Rajasthan Royals and had to leave the tournament after the opening game itself. Ben Stokes played 8 matches in IPL 2020, scoring 285 and bagging a mere 2 wickets. In the IPL 2021 edition, he only played one match before sustaining a finger injury.

Ben Stokes was picked by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2018 auction and since then they retained him for 4 years till IPL 2021. The all-rounder played 31 matches for them in 4 years scoring 604 runs averaging 23.23 besides taking 16 scalps averaging 41.13.
