Jason Roy is an England player. He is a right-handed batsman who plays as an opener. He has played many games for England national team and has also played in the Indian Premier League.

Jason Roy Was Part Of Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022

Jason Roy was a member of Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022. However, he was released from the squad ahead of IPL 2023 auction. In IPL 2022, Roy did not play any game for Gujarat Titans and was benched in all games.

Earlier, Jason Roy played in IPL 2017, IPL 2018, and IPL 2021. In IPL 2021, he played 5 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad and slammed 150 runs. In IPL 2017, Roy played for Gujarat Lions. From IPL 2018 to IPL 2020, he was a member of Delhi Capitals.

The England star is also regular in franchise T20 leagues like The Big Bash League, Pakistan Super League, Bangladesh Premier League, and The Hundred. While Roy is not a regular member of Tests for England, he has played a number of ODIs and T20Is.

In his career so far, the right-handed batsman has played 110 ODIs and 64 T20Is for England. In 110 ODIs, Roy has slammed 3993 runs at an average of 39.53, He has also slammed 10 centuries and 21 half-centuries in ODIs. In 64 T20Is, Roy has scored 1522 runs at an average of 23.78 and a strike rate of 137+. He has shattered 8 fifties in the shortest format.
