MS Dhoni was part of the CSK training camp with other CSK teammates for the last few weeks. During the training, CSK players underwent a lot of net sessions. Now, a video of MS Dhoni is doing the rounds on social media where he was seen imitating Ravindra Jadeja during net sessions.

Jadeja led Chennai Super Kings to victory with a boundary off the final ball last season. After guiding the team to victory, Jadeja ran towards his teammates with both his hands up. Dhoni copied the same celebration style during the training session and fans were quick to notice the same. Have a look at the video below.

Ravindra Jadeja gave an astonishing climax to IPL 2023 final last year. The left-handed batter slammed a six and a boundary off the final two balls when CSK needed 10 runs for victory. With the victory, the men-in-yellow won the fifth IPL title to equal Mumbai Indians‘ record.

MS Dhoni gave captaincy to Jadeja in 2022 season

Interestingly, MS Dhoni also handed over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja in IPL 2022. However, after a few initial back-to-back losses and Jadeja’s ouster from the league due to injury, Dhoni took over the captaincy back. Later, he also led the franchise to the trophy in IPL 2023.

MS Dhoni stepping down as captaincy has also led to speculation that this can be the last season for CSK legend. However, rumors of his IPL retirement have come in the past seasons too but he made a comeback. Hence, it is highly unpredictable if Dhoni will retire after IPL 2024.
