Later, on the 4th ball of the 3rd over, which was bowled by Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav grabbed a similar kind of exceptional catch to dismiss Glenn Phillips for 2.

Shubman Gill Helps India Post A Humongous Total

India won the toss and opted to bat first in the match. The decision proved great as the batters did a fantastic job, especially youngster Shubman Gill.

After losing his partner Ishan Kishan in the second over itself, Shubman Gill had an incredible 80-run partnership with Rahul Tripathi and a 38-run partnership with Suryakumar Yadav.

Overall, he scored an unbelievable 126* runs off 63 balls, with 12 fours and 7 sixes. He broke Virat Kohli’s record to register the highest individual score by an Indian in T20Is.

Also, with the help of an outstanding knock by Shubman Gill and good contributions by Rahul Tripathi, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, India posted a humongous 234/4 on the board.
