Dawid Malan was bought by Punjab Kings during IPL 2021 auction for Rs. 1.5 crores. The English cricketer has earned accolades at the international stage with his batting during the last year, which also made him the top-ranked T20I batsman. Punjab Kings went ahead to buy the left-handed batsman for Rs. 1 crore. However, Dawid Malan has not been inducted in the playing 11 in any match so far.

Punjab Kings have played 5 matches in the tournament so far but Malan is yet to arrive on the field. This is the debut IPL season for Dawid Malan and it looks like fans will have to wait for some more time to see the English cricketer donning the Punjab Kings’ jersey on the field.

4) Sam Billings – 2 Crores

Delhi Capitals bought Sam Billings for Rs. 2 crores during IPL 2021 auction. He is another expensive player who hasn’t played a single match in IPL 2021 so far. The English cricketer is a wicket-keeper batsman. With DC skipper Rishabh Pant taking up the responsibility to keeping the wickets so far, Sam Billings has been out of the team.

Delhi Capitals have played 4 matches so far and Sam Billings has been warming the bench in all the games. Kagiso Rabada, Steve Smith, Anrich Nortje, and Marcus Stoinis are among the popular overseas options Delhi Capitals have opted for. In IPL, Sam Billings has played 22 matches so far in which he scored 334 runs along with 3 fifties.

Mumbai Indians bought Piyush Chawla for Rs. 2.4 crores during IPL 2021 auction. However, with Rahul Chahar’s impressive bowling show in the tournament so far, Mumbai Indians have not opted to go for Piyush Chawla in any game till now. Mumbai Indians have played 5 matches and Piyush Chawla has not made it into the playing 11 in any of the games. Piyush Chawla has a great experience in IPL with 156 wickets in 164 matches.

2) Nathan Coulter-Nile – 5 Crores

Mumbai Indians bought Nathan Coulter-Nile for Rs. 5 crores during IPL 2021 auction after releasing him from the squad earlier. He is another expensive player who hasn’t played any match in IPL 2021 so far. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult have been the leading options for Mumbai Indians in the pacer’s category. Even newcomer Marco Jansen has got the opportunity to play in IPL 2021 but Nathan Coulter-Nile is yet to play any match.

1) Krishnappa Gowtham – 9.25 Crores

Krishnappa Gowtham was Chennai Super Kings’ costliest buy in IPL 2021 auction. CSK spent Rs. 9.25 crores to induct the Indian all-rounder in their squad. However, Gowtham is yet to play a match for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. Chennai Super Kings have played 5 matches in IPL 2021 so far but Krishnappa Gowtham was benched in all the games.

Krishnappa Gowtham has played 24 matches in the Indian Premier League, scoring 186 runs and picking up 13 wickets.
