"Someone Editing My Pics And Showing Stuff That I Haven’t Put On My Story" - Prithvi Shaw Gives A Clarification After His Valentine's Day Post Goes Viral

The young Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw’s Valentine’s Day post featuring him and his girlfriend Nidhi Tapadia has gone viral on social media. Fans claimed that Shaw quickly deleted the post, but some took screenshots and shared them on social media.

The 23-year-old posted a cute picture of himself and his girlfriend on Instagram on Valentine’s Day. For the first time, Shaw, who kept his love life private and deliberately created a mystery about it, gave a glimpse into his personal life by sharing a photo on his Instagram story with a woman he calls his “Wifey”.

In the Instagram story, Shaw captioned the picture, “Happy valentines my wifey” and tagged Nidhi along with a heart and kiss emoji.

Shaw’s alleged Instagram post Screenshots are trending on several social media platforms. In the photos, he can be seen taking a selfie with model and actress Nidhi Tapadia, who is rumoured to be his girlfriend.

Prithvi Shaw gave a clarification after his recent Instagram post with actress and model Nidhi Tapadia went viral. Shah suggested that he did not post the photo on Instagram, be it as a post or a story and that someone had “edited” the image. He urged his fans not to ignore what is happening on social media.

He shared a story in which he wrote, “Someone editing my pics and showing stuffs that I haven’t put on my story or on my page. So please ignore all the tags and msges thx.”

Prithvi earned a call-up to the Indian team after more than 18 months for the Indian squad for the T20I series against New Zealand last month. He didn’t get a chance in the playing XI for three matches as India preferred Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill over him for the opener’s role.

Shaw will next be seen in action in the India Premier League (IPL) 2023 for the Delhi Capitals (DC). The right-hander scored 283 runs at a strike rate of 152.97 in 10 games last year, including a few half-centuries. The right-handed batter has scored 1588 runs in 63 games so far, including 12 fifties.
