They play their home games at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The official theme of the team is Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo Re (we will perform, fight, and win!)

Kolkata Knight Riders have won two IPL titles so far - in 2012 and 2014. In 2021, they qualified for the final but lost the game against Chennai Super Kings. Since then, they have not made it to the playoffs. Currently, Shreyas Iyer is the captain of the team while Chandrakant Pandit is the head coach. In Iyer's absence in 2023, Nitish Rana had led the team.

Kolkata Knight Riders Jersey and logo:

Purple and gold have been the official colors of the jersey right from the inaugural season. The first logo of the team was a blazing golden Viking helmet against a black background with the name of the team written in gold next to it. Later, the black background was changed to purple before a new logo was introduced in 2012.

The new logo for Kolkata Knight Riders is a bright purple Corinthian helmet with gold trim. The name of the team is written inside a shield below the helmet.

Kolkata Knight Rider's journey in IPL so far:

Kolkata Knight Riders had a tough start in the IPL as they finished in the bottom half in the first three seasons. Ahead of the fourth season, they made a number of changes to the squad including releasing Sourav Ganguly and appointing Gautam Gambhir as the captain.

The move paid off as Gambhir guided the team to the playoffs for the first time in 2011 before captaining them to the title in 2012. In 2014, Kolkata Knight Riders once again won the IPL under his captaincy. After missing out on the playoffs in 2015, the two-time IPL winners made it to the playoffs for three years in a row before missing out once again in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, they qualified for the final before failing to advance to the playoffs in 2022 and 2023.
