He played three seasons for SRH scoring over 1000 runs for the franchise. He is a batter who plays a long innings once he gets set. He is certainly amongst the Punjab players who can win the Man of the Tournament Award.

Punjab bagged Protean pacer Kagiso Rabada for a whopping 9.25 crores. However, he might miss the first few matches of the IPL due to his international commitments with South Africa. Rabada won the Purple Cap in IPL 2020 picking 30 wickets in the season. He is one of the most reputed pacers going around and certainly makes a case for winning the Man of the Tournament award.
