Ajman Pro T20 Cup 2025 Points Table
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the premier franchise T20 tournament of Pakistan and is organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The tournament was founded in 2015 by the PCB.
Before the inaugural season, five city-based franchise teams were founded. The five teams were - Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi. Later, a team representing Multan, Multan Sultans, were also added to the tournament before the third season in 2018.
Islamabad United won the inaugural edition of the tournament with a win over Quetta Gladiators in the final. They are also the most successful team in the history of the PSL, having won the tournament thrice. Lahore Qalandars have second most PSL titles - two. The Lahore-based franchise is also the only team to defend the PSL title.
Apart from Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings have won the tournament as well.
As far as the tournament's format is concerned, there is a league stage followed by the playoffs and final. During the league stage, each team plays twice against each of the other five teams. At the end of the league stage, the top five teams qualify for the playoffs.
Talking about the PSL points table, a team gets two points for a win and no points for a loss. In case, the match is washed out or abandoned, each team gets one point each. The PSL Points Table is a true reflection of a team's performance in the tournament. With every win or loss, the dynamic table changes and eventually decides the fate of the teams in the tournament.
