Australia vs South Africa (2025)

South Africa will be visiting Australia in August 2025 for a T20I and ODI series. Both the teams will be playing three T20Is and as many ODIs against each other.

The T20I series will be the first T20I assignment between the two teams since September 2024. On the other hand, the ODI series between them will be the first ODI contest between them since they faced each other in the semifinal of the 2023 World Cup.

South Africa have won the last four bilateral ODI series against Australia and will be fancying their chances once again. Australia last won an ODI series against South Africa in 2014/15 season and will be desperate to win the upcoming series and end their losing streak.

In T20Is, Australia have won the last two series against the Proteas and will be confident of winning the upcoming one as well. South Africa, on the other hand, last won a T20I series against Australia in 2018/19 season.

Australia vs South Africa - Venues:

The T20I and the ODI series will be played across three venues. The first two T20Is will be played at the Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin while the last T20I will take place at the Cazaly's Stadium in Cairns. The venue for the first ODI will also be Cairns while the last two ODIs will take place at the Great Barrier Reef Arena, Mackay.

Australia vs South Africa - Schedule:

The T20I series will kickstart South Africa's tour of Australia 2025. The first two games will be played in Darwin on August 10 and 12 respectively. The series will end with the third T20I on August 16 in Cairns.

Cairns will also host the first ODI on August 19 while Mackay will host the second ant third games on August 22 and 24 respectively.
