I (Anirban Bose) am a creative Social Media Manager and Sports Journalist with hands-on experience in content writing, broadcasting, anchoring, and digital storytelling. I am a die-hard East Bengal fan, and a Lionel Messi fan, and work on the belief of a ‘never say die attitude.’ I was a professional cricketer and a zonal-level football player as well. 

Experiences

My professional career started working as an intern with Surkhiyaa back in 2021, and then I worked with some other companies as a writer, before joining HowdySports as an intern. For a couple of months, I started working there part-time and later on managed the content as well during the latter half of 2022. 

Worked with CricXtasy, Sportsdunia, and GOAL.com as a freelancer in different roles. My first full-time job was back in 2023, with CricTracker (Sportsinfo), where I started as a writer and worked as an anchor and broadcaster as well. After that joined Sportsdrip (now SportsBrew) with the writer role. 

Over the years, I have written around 5,000-8,000 articles and also managed social media as well. Now I am working with Cricket Addictor as a full-time Content Writer and Sub-editor. 

Education 

I completed my 10th boards from Sri Aurobindo Institute of Education, Salt Lake, Kolkata, and finished my 12th from Salt Lake School (English Medium). I graduated with Journalism Honours from Christ (deemed to be university), Bannerghatta Road Campus in 2023. Presently, I am doing my distance MBA from UCAM Catholic University of Murcia, Spain.

Projects Worked on 

I have worked on projects like IPL, FIFA World Cup 2022, ODI World Cup 2023, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Euro Cup 2024, CONMEBOL Copa America 2024, and T20 World Cup 2026. 

Achievements

During my playing days, I finished as the runner-up of the All India Cricket Tournament in Lucknow. District champion in cricket and school football. Won the Best goalkeeper award twice in inter-school tournaments. Earned medals in athletics in school days, as well as being an inter-school cricket champion.
