Chitwan Rhinos Cricket Team 2024
Chitwan Rhinos are a professional franchise T20 team based in Chitwan district of Bagmati Province in Nepal. They are one of the eight teams who will be participating in the first edition of the Nepal Premier League.
The Chitwan-based outfit is owned by Chitwan Medical College. The medical college bought the franchise for NPR 1.76 crore. Kushal Malla is the marquee player of Chitwan Rhinos and will also lead the team. The 20-year old is a batting allrounder.
Malla has played 54 T20s so far and has scored 1028 runs with the help of a century and four half-centuries. He has also picked up 23 wickets while maintaining a brilliant economy-rate of 6.34.
Chitwan Rhinos will be opening their account in the Nepal Premier League on December 2. They will lock horns against Kathmandu Gurkhas in their tournament-opener. Their final league game is on December 14 against Janakpur Bolts.
