Veteran Indian batter and captain Mithali Raj slipped 3 spots in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Rankings to No.7 in the batting charts after her below-average performance in the marquee ICC Women’s World Cup 2022. She has scored just 45 runs in the 3 games, so far, in the tournament.

Proteas Wolvaardt is another player who has made big gains as she broke into the top 10 at No.5 in the batting charts after her 75 runs and 77 runs in South Africa’s triumphs against Pakistan and England.

Veteran Indian pacer Jhulan Goswami slipped 2 spots to No. 6 in the latest ICC rankings despite her decent performance. She recently became the leading wicket-taker in the history of the Women’s ODI World Cup.

Meanwhile, Sophie Ecclestone’s brilliant performance in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, despite her team’s failure, has helped her to become the No.1 bowler in the ODI rankings. She leapfrogged Australia’s Jess Jonassen to grab the No.1 spot.

Also, Marizanne Kapp has made big gains after her 5-wicket haul against England that helped the South African team win the game.
