New Zealand pacer Trent Boult has regained the top spot in the ICC ODI bowlers’ rankings after Jasprit Bumrah sat out of the third and final ODI against England due to back spasms.

Rishabh Pant’s maiden ODI century helped him jump 25 places and is now in 52nd spot, while Hardik Pandya’s all-round show pushed him to 42nd among batters and 70th among bowlers.

Yuzvendra Chahal’s tally of seven wickets in the second and third ODI helped him move to 16th place. As for England, Jason Roy has jumped to 16th after scores of 43 and 41 in his last two ODIs.

Nicholas Pooran’s 70-run knock in a losing cause against Bangladesh sees him go up to 35th place while the likes of Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das have moved to 17th and 30th spots respectively.

Rassie van der Dussen’s career-best score of 134 against England on Tuesday sees him achieve his best-ever rank of third place, having been in the sixth position.
