The SL vs IRE 2nd Test match starts on April 24 in Galle. The match starts at 10 am IST and local time. Sri Lanka won the first Test by an innings and 180 runs and are aiming for a whitewash. Ireland have a chance to make history itself. 

Three Sri Lankan batters scored centuries to post a mammoth first innings total of 591/6. Skipper Dimuth Karunaratne scored 179, Kusal Mendis scored 140 and Dinesh Chandimal scored 102. The Sri Lankan bowlers then bundled out Ireland for 143 and 168 respectively. Prabhat Jayasuriya took 10 wickets in the game.

Heading into the second Test, Ireland should be well prepared and look to play with positivity. They will be led by Andrew Balbirnie who needs to score big for his team. Harry Tectror, Curtis Campher, and Lorcan Tucker need to do the job with the bat

With the ball, the responsibility will be on Mark Adair, George Dockrell, and Andy McBrine the senior players in the squad. Campher can roll his arm over as well as can Tector. The side is missing Josh Little who is playing in the IPL for Gujarat Titans.

Little will be back when Ireland hosts Bangladesh for a three-match ODI series at home. This ODI series will be a part of the ICC ODI Super League. Josh Little will be missing a few IPL games for the Titans as he has been named in the 14-member ODI squad for the Bangladesh ODIs. The pacer is expected to leave for the ODI series on May 5th, missing the matches against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

The first match of the ODI series will be played on May 9 in Chelmsford, with the second and third matches taking place on May 12 and 14, respectively. So far in the IPL 2023, Josh Little has taken three wickets in four matches with an economy rate of nine runs per over.
