India will look to provide opportunities to enough talents before the squad for the T20 Worldcup gets announced and it might not be a surprise if unexpected names pop up. The previous T20 Worldcup in 2016 saw the left-arm spinner Pawan Negi getting a not surprisingly and it could be the same this year around.

There have been 20 players in the Indian test squad in England currently and 20 players that have traveled to Sri Lanka for the limited-overs tour. But still, there might be some room for certain players who were not named in both of these squads, and here are 3 Indian players who are neither on the England tour nor on the Sri Lanka tour but might be in the squad for the T20 World cup 2021.

The all-rounder Rahul Tewatia got his maiden call up to the national team in the series against England but he couldn’t pass the fitness tests and also injury concerns ruled him out of the playing XI. However, he still can be a prospect for the T20 World cup as he provides the all-around option.

Tewatia is a useful leg spinner who more often is economical and a very hard hitter down the order. He had an excellent Ipl last year and won games for his franchise from improbable situations. He also brings a left-handed option in the mix and could certainly be a surprise package for the T20 Worldcup.
