Now, Aakash Chopra slammed Venkatesh Prasad even without mentioning him after Rahul’s brilliant performance in the ongoing five-match Test series in Australia. The right-handed batter has been promoted to the top order, and he grabbed the opportunity with both hands Down Under.

Rahul is currently the second-leading run-scorer in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 with 235 runs in three innings as an opener, trailing behind only Travis Head (409 runs). When the likes of Virat Kohli and young batting sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to deliver, Rahul took charge.
