Aaryavir Sehwag has got a bright start as an opener as he provided brisk starts in his first three matches for India U19. However, the Jr. Sehwag is still waiting for his first half-century, with his highest score so far being 47.
On the other hand, Anvay Dravid has also shown his batting talent. The Jr. Dravid caught attention in July with an impressive 87 off just 67 balls against Sri Lanka U19 in a one-day youth match. Now, both youngsters will be eager to continue their good form and strengthen their selection chances.
The India vs Pakistan U19 Asia Cup 2026 match will be played on November 8 at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground 1. However, the India Under 19 team will kick off their campaign against Nepal on November 6 before facing Pakistan and then the UAE on November 10.

Tanmay Baloda leads India U19 to stunning Youth Test Series win
Earlier, India U19 delivered a dominant performance to beat Australia U19 by 10 wickets in the second Youth Test in Ahmedabad. With this, they won the two-match series 2-0. Left-arm spinner Tanmay Baloda was the star of the match, taking eight wickets for 41 runs in Australia’s second innings and finishing the match with an impressive 14 wickets.
Australia resumed day three at 86 for four but were bowled out for just 151, leaving India with a small target of just 11 runs. India chased it down without losing a wicket, with Lakshya Raichandani hitting two fours off Spencer Green to seal the victory in just five balls.
Earlier, India had scored 315 in their only innings, taking a 141-run lead after dismissing Australia for 174 in the first innings. India had also won the opening Youth Test by an innings and 48 runs in Rajkot, completing a convincing series sweep.
