AB de Villiers, Wife Danielle Welcome Birth Of Third Child

Former South Africa skipper AB de Villiers and his wife Danielle welcomed their third baby – a daughter- on Thursday. Having tied the knot in 2013, the de Villiers previously became parents to two sons – Abraham de Villiers and John Richard de Villiers.

The batting superstar took to Instagram to reveal the good news to his millions of followers. He posted an adorable selfie of himself, his wife and the newborn. AB de Villiers also revealed the name of his daughter – Yente de Villiers.

“On 11-11-2020, we welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world?,” wrote AB de Villiers.

“Yente de Villiers, you are the perfect addition to our family and such a blessing. We are grateful beyond measure for YOU!” he added.

AB de Villiers was recently seen in action in IPL 2020 where he plied his trade for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The South African star once again made his mark with the bat and finished IPL 2020 as RCB’s third highest run-scorer. His performance was one of the reasons behind RCB making it to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

He scored 454 runs in 15 games with the help of five fifties before RCB bowed out of the tournament with a defeat to SunRisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator. Meanwhile, AB de Villiers’ good friend and IPL teammate Virat Kohli is also set to become a father for the first time in January.

Anushka Sharma is due to give birth in early January. The India skipper has already taken a paternity leave from the BCCI and would miss three of the four matches during the Border-Gavaskar Test series in Australia.
