The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are ready to welcome Abhishek Nayar back after the BCCI terminated his contract as India’s assistant coach. Apart from Abhishek Nayar, India’s fielding coach T Dilip and strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai are all set to be sacked by the BCCI after the disastrous BGT 2024-25 in Australia.

Nayar, Dilip, and Desai’s contracts were till June. This means Team India will travel to England without the trio. Adrian le Roux will be the new strength and conditioning coach for the national team, while Ryan ten Doeschate is set to take over the responsibility of the fielding coach.
