Abhishek Sharma not alone, Shubman Gill also comes in Ihsanullah's firing range in fresh assault

Pakistan fast bowler Ihsanullah has issued a stern warning to India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma that has now gone viral on social media. After confidently claiming that if he ever faced Abhishek Sharma in a match, the contest would barely last an over, Ihsanullah launched a fresh attack on India’s batting sensations.

Abhishek Sharma was the standout star for India in the Asia Cup 2025. He played a key role in India’s title triumph. The 25-year-old batter finished the tournament as the leading run scorer with 314 runs in seven matches, including three fifties, and maintained an incredible strike rate close to 200.

His consistent performances were a major factor in India’s success under Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy in the continental tournament in the UAE. Although Abhishek failed to score big in the final against Pakistan, scoring just five runs, he dominated in nearly every other game.

Meanwhile, Ihsanullah has made another sensational remark against Abhishek Sharma, who is the world’s number one T20I batter, and Shubman Gill. While Abhishek has proven that he can take on high-quality bowling and perform under pressure with his fearless batting and ability to dominate bowlers, Shubman Gill is an equally talented and aggressive batter across the formats.

In a viral video, Ihsanullah has threatened to show his speed when he was asked why the Pakistan pacer feels he can destroy Gill and Abhishek within a couple of overs. The pacer said that they all have “two legs and two hands,” and that’s enough for him to show who is best to the world.

He also said that there is no difference in the level between him and the Indian batting stars. Ihsanullah even mentioned Haris Rauf, who was brutally beaten by Gill and Abhishek in the Asia Cup 2025, as he mentioned him and the latter as the only lethal pacers Pakistan currently has.

Currently, Gill and Shubman are gearing up for the upcoming white-ball series in Australia.

While the left-handed batter is part of the T20I squad, Gill is all set to make his ODI captaincy debut in Australia on October 19 in Perth. Gill recently led India to a 2-0 Test series win over the West Indies at home.
