Akash Madhwal Bought By Rajasthan Royals For INR 1.20 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Akash Madhwal has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. The 30-year-old is a right-arm pacer. In domestic cricket, he plies his trade for Uttarakhand.

He has played 14 first-class games, 22 List-A games, and 41 T20s so far. In first-class cricket, Akash has picked up 16 wickets while in List A, he has taken 25 wickets. In T20s, the pacer has 46 wickets to his name.

He has represented only one team in the IPL so far - Mumbai Indians. Madhwal made his debut in the IPL in 2023. In his debut season, he played 8 games and picked up an impressive 14 wickets including a sensational five-wicket haul. In IPL 2024, he picked up 5 wickets in 5 games.
