Anil Kumble totally fed up with KL Rahul; legend’s reaction to batter’s dismissal in 2nd Test breaks internet

Former Indian coach Anil Kumble seemed disgusted with Indian opener KL Rahul's batting after he was cleaned up by Simon Harmer during India's chase in the second innings of the Guwahati Test.
India would have never imagined that they would lose the South Africa series in such a humiliating fashion. They not only lost the first game but were humiliated when they failed to chase a 124-run target and were bowled out for a score below 100.
The Guwahati track that offered many more batters also didn't seem good enough for them to have a go at it, as Indian batters kept struggling against the Protea bowlers and even failed to go past the follow-on score. Now with a day remaining and still 522 runs needed with just 8 wickets in hand, even a draw would be of immense honour to the Indians.
Anil Kumble's reaction to KL Rahul's dismissal portrays clear disgust
KL Rahul opened the innings across all four innings against South Africa in the series, and despite flaunting an exceptional record against the nation, Rahul has failed to score any runs on home turf.
KL Rahul has often looked too high on defensive work rate and has now often been ditched by his defense. As Rahul came out to bat in the final innings of the series, he needed to hold his nerve and play as long as possible, since he is one of the most experienced batters in the side.
However, Rahul was dismissed as he played against a wrong line of delivery from Simon Harmer, who spun a ball back sharply to smash into his off-stump. Just then, Anil Kumble, who was in the commentary box, gestured with his hand and looked utterly disgusted by the shot.

What will be India's position in the WTC Points table if they lose in Guwahati?
Currently, South Africa is the defending champion of the WTC and is placed second in the points table, only behind Australia, which has been undefeated so far in this cycle of the ICC World Test Championship.
If South Africa win their third straight game in the WTC and earns another 12 points, then they are likely to take the PCT past 75, which implies that it will strengthen their position in the second spot. However, a loss would largely affect them, as they will go down to the fourth position; however, a draw keeps them unaffected.
If India manage to win this game, then they are likely to take the third position in the points table, and if they draw the game, then nothing would be much in their favour. If they lose the match, they will go behind Pakistan for the first time in the WTC.
KL Rahul has been appointed as India's ODI captain
Indian batsman KL Rahul has been appointed as India's ODI captain as Shubman Gill misses out on the India vs South Africa ODI series. Shubman Gill is likely to miss out on the T20I series as well.
Shubman Gill was appointed the skipper of the Indian team after Rohit Sharma was snubbed from responsibilities ahead of the tour to Australia. KL Rahul will now lead the likes of his former captains, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
