Jasprit Bumrah showcased an impeccable piece of bowling on Day 3 of IND vs ENG 1st Test in Hyderabad. Dinesh Karthik was in awe of Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling and took to X to hail the Indian pacer.

Jasprit Bumrah bagged two back-to-back wickets after lunch to dismantle England’s batting. England had crossed 100+ runs on the scoreboard in 2nd innings after losing just 1 wicket of Zak Crawley. Bumrah jolted their might by getting Ben Duckett (47) and Joe Root (6) in back-to-back overs.

Bumrah’s bowling attack and aggressiveness were widely visible on the field. He executed an aggressive celebration after grabbing those wickets and set the Hyderabad crowd on fire. Many experts and fans hailed India seamer for providing breakthroughs to the team.

Dinesh Karthik Hails Jasprit Bumrah On X

Active commentator and wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik heaped praises on Jasprit Bumrah for his lethal pace attack. Karthik said that the session between lunch and tea was just about  Bumrah. He also added that any batter would’ve struggled against him during that spell.

“That session between lunch and tea was all about Jasprit BUMRAH and his genius. What a bowler in any format. Any batter would’ve struggled to play that spell”, Karthik wrote on X (Twitter). Have a look at the tweet below.

Bumrah Got 2 Wickets In 1st Innings

Jasprit Bumrah also hunted 2 wickets in the 1st innings. However, in the 2nd innings, the right-arm pacer grabbed breakthroughs for India. Meanwhile, England bounced back after losing 2 wickets. With Ollie Pope’s century in the match, England reached 280-plus runs on the scoreboard in 2nd innings.

Earlier, Ben Stokes won the toss and chose to bat first. They posted 246-10 in 1st innings with a fifty by Stokes. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja clinched 3 wickets each to downplay England batters.

Ollie Pope Leads England To A Powerful Total

Later, India replied with an amazing total of 436-10. Yashasvi Jaiswal (80) and KL Rahul (86) hampered powerful knocks. Later, Ravindra Jadeja smacked 87 runs to propel the scoreboard to a powerful total. Joe Root was the most successful bowler for England with 4 wickets.

Meanwhile, England is on the way to cross 300 runs on the board in 2nd innings. They have successfully surpassed the 190-run mark; the trail set by Team India. Ollie Pope has crossed 130+ runs and Indian bowlers are trying to outplay him.
