Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has once again come under fire on social media after a video with young Punjab Kings (PBKS) teammate Priyansh Arya went viral across social media amid the team’s poor run in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026).

In recent times, Arshdeep Singh has faced heavy backlash on social media for mocking his PBKS teammates during live sessions on Snapchat and Instagram during the ongoing IPL 2026. Most recently, he had trolled Tilak Varma's skin colour. Despite the backlash, the left-arm pacer yet again made fun of another teammate to spark fury among the fans.

Priyansh Arya left awkward by Arshdeep Singh in a viral video ahead of PBKS’s must-win IPL 2026 clash

In his latest move, Priyansh Arya was left completely uncomfortable, and many have been criticizing Arshdeep Singh for putting his own teammate in an awkward position.

Fans felt bad for Priyansh as the youngster looked nervous and tried his best to avoid the situation without making any drama. In the viral clip, Arshdeep was seen asking Priyansh to show his teeth while others around were smiling and enjoying the moment on the team bus.

But Priyansh did not seem comfortable at all. Even though the aggressive top-order batter looked uncomfortable, he still stayed calm and did not create any drama.

Arshdeep Singh make the fun of Priyansh Arya's teeth

The young Punjab Kings opener tried to hide his teeth by tightening his lips and then looked down at his phone, keeping himself busy to avoid the camera and move on from the situation.

Well, Priyansh was most of the time seen as conscious about the gaps in his teeth, and fans slammed Arshdeep Singh for making his teammate uncomfortable publicly.

It all happened before PBKS’s must-win IPL 2026 clash against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Saturday, May 23, at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

If Punjab Kings lose their game against LSG, their IPL 2026 will end on Saturday. However, a win will not be enough for the PBKS to qualify for the playoffs after six straight defeats in the tournament. They will have to hope Rajasthan Royals (RR) lose their last league match against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday, May 24, as they now have 14 points from 13 games.

And then Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) also have the same points—13—as Punjab Kings, and both teams have one game left. So, if KKR also manages to beat Delhi Capitals on May 24 in their final league match, it could end PBKS’s playoff hopes too.

Now, the situation is that PBKS will be hoping both RR and KKR lose their final league games, and they must beat LSG by a big margin to qualify for the IPL 2026 playoffs, as Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have already sealed the two spots.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has 16 points from 13 games, and if they manage to beat RCB on May 22 and improve their net run rate, they can finish in the top two, as GT have already played all of their 14 games in the tournament.
