The much-awaited Asia Cup 2023 is all set to commence this month. And with not much time remaining before the tournaments get underway, the official broadcasters have announced the commentary panel.
Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to be played from August 30 to September 17. The tournament will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. While Pakistan, who were awarded the hosting rights for the competition, will be conducting four matches, Sri Lanka will be the venue for the other nine games. Team India will be playing all of their games in Sri Lanka.
A total of six teams will be participating in the event. The five Test-playing nations of the continental and Nepal will be fighting it out for the trophy. Nepal will be making its debut in the competition this year. The six teams have been divided into two groups of three teams each.
Hosts Pakistan, India, and Nepal are in Group A while reigning champions Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in Group B. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 4s before the top two teams make it to the final.

With the Asia Cup 2023 just over three weeks away, the commentary panel for the tournament is out. The broadcasters have announced a star-studded panel compromising of ace commentators from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
From India, Gautam Gambhir, Ravi Shastri, Sanjay Manjrekar, Deep Dasgupta, and Irfan Pathan will be doing the commentary duties. Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Ramiz Raja, and Bazid Khan will be representing Pakistan while Russell Arnold and Athar Ali Khan will be representing Sri Lanka and Bangladesh respectively. Former New Zealand allrounder Scott Styris is a part of the panel too.
