Indian batter Virat Kohli launched an attack on the media house Times of India for circulating fake news about him. The media conglomerate reported that the premier batter along with his wife Anushka Sharma is building a cricketing pitch at his Alibaug farmhouse.

Recently a lot of media houses reported about Virat Kohli’s Alibaugh farmhouse. While some reported that he’s making a new house, few including TOI mentioned that he will be making a cricket pitch at his farmhouse.

However, Virat Kohli pointed out TOI’s news, stating that even the newspapers, which he has been reading since his childhood are circulating fake news. He posted the screenshot of the news on his Instagram account, stating:

“Bachpan se jo akhbar pada hai, vo b fake news chaapne lage ab,” Virat Kohli wrote.

He stated: “While I am grateful and indebted to all that I’ve received in life, the news that has been making rounds about my social media earnings is not true.”
