As per the latest reports, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will host the Asia Cup in 2027 from June 18 to July 4. Three cities, Dhaka, Sylhet & Chattogram, are primarily expected to host the group stage matches, while the final match of the tournament can be held in Mirpur.
According to the latest reports, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) sent a clear message to the Bangladesh cricket authority about their preparations. ACC directed the board to prepare the pitches keeping the South African playing conditions in mind. The Council is reportedly wanting to treat the upcoming Asia Cup as a platform to prepare the Asian teams for the 2027 ODI World Cup.
Asia Cup 2027 is likely to get bouncy pitches in Bangladesh
Mian Ahmad, a sports journalist based in Pakistan and the United States, on August 9 mentioned on his ‘X’ post about the recent developments around the Asia Cup 2027. The possible bouncy pitches in Bangladesh could make the competition more interesting to watch. If the board creates green decks, it will help all of the fast bowlers across the nations in the multi-nation tournament.

Will Team India travel to Bangladesh?
