Atharva Taide Bought By Sunrisers Hyderabad For INR 30 lakh at IPL Auction 2025

Atharva Taide has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakhs. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm spinner. In domestic cricket, the 24-year-old plies his trade for Vidarbha.

The southpaw has played for just one IPL team so far - Punjab Kings. He made his debut in the tournament in 2023. In his debut IPL season, Atharva played 7 games and scored 186 runs with the help of two half-centuries.

He fell down the pecking order in IPL 2024 and managed to play only 2 games. In those two games, Taide scored 61 runs. Overall in T20s, the Vidarbha batter has played 46 games and scored 1290 runs with the help of five half-centuries.

He has also picked up 10 wickets in the shortest format of the game. In first-class cricket, Taide has scored 1702 runs in 30 games with the help of 4 centuries and 8 half-centuries.
